CCP is designed for regional center consumers age 18+ to get help with obtaining employment, creating their own business, exploring paid internships and more.
CCP services directly assist and support the individual through an individualized, person-centered, customized employment process. CCP services include a two people that work in tandem to support individuals goals -- a Career Pathway Navigator (CPN) and a Customized Employment Specialist (CES). The CPN will help consumers create a career plan with steps, timelines goals and objectives, while the CES will assist in the direct implementation of the career plan. An assigned CES will support individuals in obtaining work, learning and then performing their job duties.

Supported employment services provide tailored support for adults who are ready to begin their job search to obtain customized or competitive integrated employment.
Supported employment services include assessment of individual skills and interests, individualized job development and placement, and on-the-job coaching to promote successful employment. These services are provided as part of the CCP program.

This job readiness training program is designed to equip neurodivergent individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to secure and maintain gainful employment. The program offers comprehensive training in key areas such as personal hygiene in the workplace, resume building, mock interviews, workplace etiquette, effective communication and more. Participants engage in hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and receive personalized mentorship to ensure they are fully prepared for the professional world. A unique feature of the program is its paid job shadow component, which provides participants with real-world experience by allowing them to observe and learn from professionals in their field of interest. Upon successful completion of the full program, a stipend is provided to all participants.

This entrepreneurial class series is designed to empower individuals with disabilities by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create and manage their own small businesses. The program curriculum is designed to be accessible, engaging and tailored to the needs of neurodivergent individuals. It will combine classroom learning, practical exercises, and real-world experience through local partnerships.

The purpose of our paid internship program is to increase the vocational skills and abilities of individuals who choose to participate, via the path created via their customized Career Plan. The internship takes place in a community-integrated business setting and hopefully will lead to a full- or part time job opportunity.

Connected Employment is authorized by the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide Ticket to Work services throughout the state of California. The goal of the Ticket to Work program is to assist people in attaining employment. We help with job search and development and provide long-term job-related support services as needed.

Connected Employment offers training for both residential and day program DSP and administrative staff on a variety of topics related to client employment. Participants of this training will learn how to develop, facilitate, and implement innovative employment support while also promoting the benefits of their own day program service and residential facility.

Two sessions per month are provided in an interactive presentation format for Connected Employment consumers and their families or support systems. During these sessions, we will discuss and practice job-readiness skills and resources. All sessions are held in-person with transportation provided when necessary. Professional Etiquette and Hygiene, Interview Basics, Workplace Rights and Responsibilities, Time Management and Prioritization, and Conflict Resolution.
